MathMaster Times Tables app for iPhone and iPad

MathMaster Times Tables builds on the success of MathMaster Level 1, focussing on easing your way through learning and improving your 1 to 12 times tables. MathMaster Times Tables allows practice of any specific troublesome times table, if the nine times table is proving tricky then extra time can be spent ensuring you know your multiplication inside and out.

To help along the way, for each times table game you can choose to have:

- the questions presented in order; i.e. 3 x 3, 4 x 3, 5 x 3
- the answers presented in order; i.e. 9, 12, 15
- questions and answers randomly presented for when confidence increases

As well as the individual times table games there are four challenges which will help gauge progress:

- a mix of times tables from 1 – 4
- a mix of times tables from 5 – 8
- a mix of times tables from 9 – 12
- a mix of all times tables (1 – 12)

When you correctly answer a question, you will get immediate feedback (both audio* and visual) and the question and answer will spin away, leaving you one question closer to completing. Don’t worry if you get an answer wrong, immediate feedback (both audio* and visual) gently let you know and allow another try.

The top score is maintained for each game so you always know what the best time was and is an incentive during play. Scores can be reset, which is especially useful when different age groups play. In addition to the score you also get to see the percentage of questions that were answered correctly. Of course, we would all like to achieve a perfect 100% success rate first time, but practice will make perfect and perfection takes time. MathMaster Times Tables will gently encourage both practice and perfection.
